Grace spent last night again spewing her little belly up.
Although there's not much left to spew, after any sip of water, she would bring it all back up. It's not pleasant to be woken in the middle of the night to a warm liquid rolling down your back. Especially when most of the towels and sheets were either in the wash or on the line from the previous night. It was desperate times this morning when I had to dry myself off with a hand towel after my shower.
She's slowly gotten better as the day has gone on, wanting to eat again is always a good sign. She gobbled up some dry toast first, then wanted to work her way through the rest of the fridge. I'm slowly rationing out some apple and crackers, which she is knocking back like a grown man.
Grandma came up for the morning to fuss over her and also so that I could take Xav out for some pampering. There is a children's hairdresser down the road, so I thought I'd treat Xav to his very first salon haircut. I got away with saying it was his very first haircut, which meant I not only got it cheaper ($15), but also the certificate to go with it. Bonus.

He wasn't thrilled to start with, a bit wary of his surroundings and not really sure what was going to happen. The stylist asked if he would like to pick a dvd to watch, which he wasn't overly fussed with. He was more impressed with the box of cars that he got to play with as she preened over him.
I love his hair a little bit shaggy, so I gave strict instructions to how I wanted it. A little off the back, side and fringe, with the top thinned out.

He sat there perfectly. All up it took about 20 mins and not once did he complain or move, the hairdresser thought he was amazing because he followed every instruction she gave; tilting ones head the right way on command is apparently very well appreciated in hair cutting circles.
At the end he got a certificate with his picture on it as well as a choice from the lucky dip, which he was over the moon about as it was a green racing car. The look on his precious little face as he unwrapped it and realised that it was for him, just gorgeous.
I didn't actually get a pic of the finished "do", so I'll have to put one here later.
Grace was well and truly herself by the afternoon, thank goodness. Also looks like we may have avoided passing it around too, no one else is showing any symptoms. Yet.
