Grace had developed a terrible habit of chewing her nails down to nothing, sometimes even going so far as to make them bleed. I promised her that if she could try really hard not to chew them, Santa would bring her some special polish.

Santa had a tough time looking for a safe nail polish though, one that was free of formaldehyde and all the other nasties. Lucky it was worth the search, Grace was over the moon. She insists on constantly having her nails "done" and will not leave the house if her nails are bare.

Here she is putting on the polish by herself for the very first time. She also did my toenails and fingernails, well she may have missed a few and there may have been more polish on my skin than the nails!

I have never been a real girly girl, but it's kinda fun doing all these grily things with my very own daughter!
